Each purchased ticket/lift pass includes an insurance coverage for transportation of people on ropeways and transport belts as well as Accident coverage valid for the ski centers in Borovets (which include the marked ski runs and trails, ski ways and connections between them) which covers the costs for searching in the event of accident on the ski slopes, the provision of first medical aid on the slope or in the rescue center of the Mountain Rescue Service and the transportation of the insured individual by special rescue means to the nearest medical center within the ski centers. insurance coverage is not valid in the freestyle (terrain) parks - Borosport Snowpark and PromoPark Borosport and for freeride.

THE INSURANCE APPLIES TO INCIDENTS THAT HAVE OCCURRED ONLY DURING THE REGULAR WORKING HOURS OF THE LIFT FACILITIES.

THE INSURANCE PROVIDES COVERAGE FOR INCIDENTS ON THE MARKED SKI RUNS IN BOROVETS RESORT AND DOES NOT COVER FREERIDE/OFF-PISTE SKIING.

THE INSURANCE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE PHYSICIAN’S OFFICE AND ANY FOLLOW-UP PROCEDURES AND SERVICES.

WARNING! THE RESALE OR TRANSFER OF THE LIFT PASSES/TICKETS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT WHEN YOU CROSS THE LIFT GATES FOR THE FIRST TIME, YOUR CARD IS PERSONNIFIED BY THE AUTOMATIC TAKING OF A PHOTO OF THE FIRST-TIME USER. THE VIOLATORS ARE EASILY IDENTIFIED AT THE NEXT CROSSING OF THE LIFT GATES WITH THE SAME CARD. IF AND WHEN THE SAME LIFT PASS/TICKET IS USED BY MORE THAN ONE INDIVIDUAL, THE LIFT PASS/TICKET IS ANNULLED AND ALL RIGHTS OF USE ARE REVOKED WITHOUT THE RIGHT TO COMPENSATION.

Remember To Bring:

 Dress in layers. This allows you to adjust to changing temperatures

  • Eye Protection; sunglasses or goggles
  • Good Gloves - Your gardening gloves won't make the cut
  • Good Socks - A well-fitted pair of wool or synthetic wool socks, not too thick. Cotton socks aren't recommended.
  • Waterproof jackets and pants will keep you warmer and more comfortable
  • Water - it's important to stay hydrated at dry altitude
  • A Snack - something small that will fit in a pocket to keep up energy
  • Credit Card or cash for payment and any food you may want to buy on the mountain
  • Sunblock - the suns rays and its reflection off the snow are powerful at this altitude
  • And of course: Skis, snowboard, boots, poles (you'd be surprised how many people forget)

The children are put into groups according to their ability and age. We thereby achieve the best and quickest learning results.  When your children ( from 6 onwards) want to ski together they will be put into a group which suits the weakest child.

Children can ski from the age of six in the groups along with everybody else according to there ability, below the age of six we recommend that they go into children's club (Rila and Samokov hotel-pls.contact them directly), where they ski for two hours in the morning and afternoon with lunch break in-between . Babies and toddlers are also catered for in the club and looked after all day.

Please note, that it is highly recommendable to book and confirm date and time for private lessons in advance. For the half term period there might be some restrictions on private lessons bookings.

Deposit and cancellation policy:

- Deposit: 10 % percent of the services will be charged on the day of booking and is NOT refundable.

- PayPal payments are subject of 100% prepayment and are non refundable

- Taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included.

- If cancelled before 7 days prior your arrival the deposit of 10% will be charged

- If cancelled 7 days or later before arrival the full amount of the services has to be charged.

You must book no later than 2 days before your first day of skiing - we regret we cannot take orders later than this. You can book as early as you like, although there is usually a period between the end of one season and the release of prices for the next season where we probably won't be able to take your order, but the website will tell you about this at the time.We may be able to confrirm late bookings but this MUST happen via "contact us" form.!!!!

Balkan PMS Ltd do store your email address and postal address for order processing and invoicing purposes. We don't store your card details once you pay the deposit . You will receive payment confirmation for the deposit you have paid and copy of the receipt. There is no link between this data and your credit/debit card details for future transactions.

Always tell someone where you are going if you go off the pathway and arrange a time to meet up afterwards, so that we know that everyone is down safely off the mountain each night, if you are in any doubt that someone is still up on the mountain when all the lifts are closed and you think they might be in trouble please, come and see us in the office and we will arrange for a search.

You can take them back to the depot each day after you have finished you skiing and they will be looked after for you till the morning when you come back, your set of equipment will be the same that you use for the duration of your holiday, as it will be tagged with your name. If you wish to take them back to your apartment we have no problem with this, just let us know please before you do so as we know.

We will assess everybody that comes into the group and put him into classes that we think will benefit the most, but if you want to stay in a particular group then we should know in advance. We try to keep our groups to no more than 8 people at one time, but in some cases when we are very busy this may go up to 12. Classes start around 9.30 am each morning but this may vary according to your instructor, so please talk with them each day and arrange the time and place to meet each morning.

No, there are no certain dates when the ski classes start. Normally all groups start on Sundays but we do accept bookings for any other dates.

Our main office is based at Flora complex on theright hand side of the main entrance. All bookings can be checked and confirmed there and also additional services like private lessons, snowboard testers can be booked there.The office is open every day in the winter from 08.30 am till 17.30 pm during the winter season. All payments are taken ONLY in the office!!!
